about

The second part of the debut vinyl release from Sugarlicks sees the cream of electronic soul talent in Auckland teaming up again for a heavy slab of wax. Starting with the mighty Solephonic tune with Samoan MC Tha Feelstyle, and then into Haitian/Lebanese combo Ghost Tones, featuring Jahlicious vocalist Blaque Reign, for a slice of dubwize soul. Side a finishes with a little interlude from sultry Maori sister Nat Rose. Side b on the flip - one of the heaviest Auckland tunes from amazing producer SUbmariner (think Che Fu, King Kapisi etc), and then to Maori boy out West Brother J's slice on sunshine from his debut long-player. Enjoy the sounds of Pacific Soul!
