Rooted in Brazilian rhythms but unafraid to explore new sonic territories, Orbital Ensemble has a unique take on fusion music with a bold, contemporary approach. A brainchild of Brazilian Composer and guitarist Felipe Sena, the band features Toronto jazz heavy-hitters such as Emily Steinwall on flute and saxophone, Jon Catanus & Caleb Klager (Diskarte) on drums and bass, Artu Bastos on nylon guitar, Dan Mclay (Local Dish) and Ana Higuera on percussion and Simon Outhit (OBGMs) on keys.
